Reaching the outskirts of Douma, Eastern Ghouta, it happens to hear different humanitarian stories about alike characters of returnees hoping for a better future.
People in the Eastern Ghouta has witnessed a quick response to their needs, which met perfectly by positive efforts dedicated by SARC volunteers. During the second half of 2018, SARC delivered a huge amount of relief items to 118.170 people there.
The items consisted of food parcels, flour bags, peanut butter, blankets, mattresses, plastic sheets, mats, jerrycans, winter clothes, hygiene kits, kitchen kits, diapers and solar lamps provided by the ICRC, UNICEF, UNHCR, WFP and SARC.
