Today, July 23, 2018, SARC humanitarian aid convoy headed to Nawa in Daraa, Syria. The convoy carried 7500 food parcels and 7500 flour bags provided by World Food Programme.
More three areas in Daraa received the humanitarian aid convoy (27 trucks) delivered by SARC on 19/7/2018. 12 trucks loaded with 2800 food parcels and 2800 flour bags headed to Tall Shhab, 9 trucks loaded with 1800 food parcels and 1800 flour bags headed to Al-Yadouda and the last 6 trucks loaded with 600 food parcels and 600 flour bags headed to Kharab Al-Shahem. The Relief aid are provided by WFP.
SARC delivered humanitarian aid convoy to Ibta’a town in Daraa today, 7/7/2018. The convoy carried 4560 food parcels and 4560 flour bags provided by WFP.
SARC teams respond to the needs of IDPs from Rural Daraa in three humanitarian corridors and temporary shelters. Between 19th -30th of June 2018, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent carried out the following works: Rehabilitation of 4 shelters (Jbab temporary shelter, Jbab first shcool, “Al Shaheed Al Sayed Ahmed” school and a kindergarten behind Jbab first school) Installing 229 tents. In cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Relief sub-committee, Syrian Arab Red Crescent delivered a humanitarian relief aid convoy to Sanamain, Deir Bukht, Jbab and Mothbeen villages in Rural Dara’a on March 15, 2017. The convoy was loaded with 8000 food parcels, 6000 hygiene parcels, 3000 canned food parcels, mats, moquette, diapers for baby and old and school bags. These relief aid is estimated to reach more than 50.000 beneficiaries in the mentioned areas.
