Dara al-Balad neighborhoods, Tarik Alssad and Daraa Camp, was the third stop point for SARC’s convoy on Thursday, August 09, 2018. The convoy (26 trucks) carried 6500 family hygiene kits, 7500 blankets, 1500 kitchen kits, 4500 mats, 4720 mattresses, nutrients items (peanuts butter and high energy biscuit), jerrycans, sanitary napkins, diapers for babies and adults and solar lamps provided by UNICEF, UNFPA and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
SARC humanitarian aid convoy headed to As-Swaisa and Saida towns in Qunaitera city on Tuesday, Aug 7, 2018. The convoy consisted of 20 trucks loaded with 2450 food parcels and 2450 flour bags to As-Swaisa, and 757 of the same relief items to Saida provided by WFP.
SARC has continued its humanitarian response in Daraa city for the third month now. Today, Aug 7, 2018, SARC volunteers delivered a humanitarian aid convoy (24 trucks) to Nawa town. The convoy carried 5000 food parcels and 5000 flour bags provided by WFP. It is worth mentioning that this convoy is the second one reaching Nawa during Daraa response where SARC had delivered relief aid (40 trucks) on July 23 .
On an emergency response to Yarmouk Basin in Daraa, Syria, SARC teams, among them pharmacists and doctors, accompanied with ambulances and mobile clinics headed to Aabdyn and Maaria towns on Sunday, August 5, 2018, in order to carry out estimations in fields of relief, water & constructions, hygiene promotion, psychosocial support, productive health, first aid, malnutrition. The response included also a delivery of relief items: drinking water, jerrycans, ready to eat food parcels, baby diapers, sanitary napkins, diapers for adults, high-energy biscuit, supplemented ready to eat food for children and peanut butter.
