On Feb. 11th 2016, the World Food Program’s representative and country director, Mr. Jacob Kern, visited Aleppo branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent. Mr. Kern met with SARC – Aleppo’s board and management members. They discussed developing joint work mechanisms to meet the growing needs of the affected families throughout the recurrent displacement that Aleppo witnesses. During the meeting, Mr. Kern heard a briefing of SARC – Aleppo’s most significant work and activities as well as a detailed explanation of SARC – WFP joint projects.
