A delegation from the WFP headed by Mr. David Beasley, WFP Executive Director, and accompanied with SARC paid a visit to Zamalka town in Eastern Ghouta in Rural Damascus.
The delegation visited a school there, where they planted a cypress tree that symbolizes peace. They moved then to the aid distribution center to observe the distribution process and the needs of the people in the area.
