The Mental Health Gap Action Program presents a good solution In light of the challenges imposed by the current crisis in Syria, the sever lack of psychologists and the increase of the mental health disorder cases.
In cooperation with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) organized a training course on the mentioned program on 21-25/5/2017.
The course brought together 25 doctors of SARC staff members who work in primary health care all over the Syrian governorates.
It dealt with many topics of depression, bipolar disorder, collapse, psychosis and psychological stress, and aimed to empower the attending doctors of providing the mental health services.
