Due to the non-stop persisting shortage of water and the spread of several diseases like diarrhea, SARC –Aleppo hygiene promotion team continues its interventions in Aleppo city. The team held awareness sessions for mothers sheltering in Al-Hasoob Building in Al-Zahraa and the nearby tents. Sessions involved detailed description of the most important causes of diarrhea as well as information on its symptoms, dehydration, prevention and treatment in interactive ways. 49 women benefitted from these sessions, which also included distributing tablets for water purification to benefit 324 individuals. Activities of hygiene promotion are in cooperation with UNICEF.
