Headed by its president Mr. Khaled Hboubati, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent delegation participated in the 9th Conference for the Red Cross and Red Crescent societies of the Middle East and North Africa which took place in Amman during the period January 24 – 26, 2017.
The conference was held under the title “Together for Humanity”, and discussed several issues, most notably the emergency response to the challenges in the Middle East and North Africa, the importance of promoting a culture of peace, tolerance and non-violence.
