In the early morning of Feb 1st 2017, the administrative offices of Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Idleb branch were damaged during an incident which affected the Carlton Hotel. SARC Idleb have offices inside the building.
The President of the branch sustained light head injuries. His condition is stable. No other staff or volunteers from SARC were hurt.
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent call on all parties to respect the SARC emblem, to provide protection for SARC teams and enable them to carry out their humanitarian missions, which alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable people according to the principles of the International Movement of the Red Cross Red Crescent Societies.
