Through its livelihood program, Syrian Arab Red Crescent launched sheep distribution project for the first time in Hama (Jnann village with 300 beneficiaries) and for the second time in Lattakia (Rural Jableh- Foyersat, Al-Mshayrfeh, Harf AsSari, Al-Kroum, Hilet Ara and Hilbaco villages with 250 beneficiaries).
The project included a donation of 2 pregnant sheep and 600 kg fodder (barley and bran). In addition, a veterinary supervision and medical follow up will be provided through weekly visits for one year.
It is worth to mention that this project is supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
