Water & Sanitation Project of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent organization finalized all rehabilitation works for six wells that provide drinkable water in Hassakeh. These wells (Al-Baladieh, Tall Mansour, jhagjag staion, Al-Eywaygah station, Al-Hilalieh station and Al- Arja well) were out of service.
The rehabilitation works included maintenance and cleaning hard wastes that hinder water flow, in addition to installing all needed mechanical and electrical equipment for three out of the six wells.
The importance of such works that it will provide drinkable water to about 400.000 beneficiaries in areas of Al-Qamishli, rural Qahtanieh and Al-Malkieh according to Water Institution statistics.
It is worth to mention that such missions are followed up by SARC headquarter in Damascus through weekly corresponding reports.
