SARC – Aleppo is Securing Water for Displaced families

SARC – Aleppo is Securing Water for Displaced families

1 min read

Securing water for the recently displaced families is a cornerstone of the response conducted by SARC –Aleppo.

SARC – Aleppo in collaboration with ICRC have worked for three consecutive days to assess the water-related needs of families who forced out their homes in Al-Hamdaniya (Tishreen Twarea, Al-Riyada and Al-Sakan Wa Al-Istiyaf) and sheltering in previously rehabilitated collective shelters, Mosques and chaparrals. The response involved checking the readability of boreholes in those shelters as well as installing 500-liter-capacity tanks near Abdullah Bin Al-Abbas Mosque, Mohallaq Al-Basel, Al-Shafi Mosque, Tishreen St., Tishreen kindergarten and Al-Raees Mosque. The total of beneficiaries able to reach water through those tanks is 3000 individuals.
