The collaboration between SARC – Aleppo water and sanitation team and ICRC resulted in finishing the maintenance of sewage system and solid waste relay in Maysalon – Al-Sakan Al-Shababi area.
The project went on for 80 days. It involved 35 buildings which are resided by 4000 affected and IDPs’ persons. The done work involved cleaning 2000 m long of PVC tubes, fitting 600 m PVC tubes with different diameters, installing accessories, cleaning more 130 sewer holes, relaying 550 m3 of waste and drainage of more than 2000 m3 of water from basements and garages.
