Held with strong hands, the yellow golden crop along the sprawling meadows are an auspicious indicator of a good harvest season for the farmers, who benefited from the chickpea and fertilizer donation this year. Abu Khaled was among these farmers who harvested his crops in Maf’aleh village – Swaida, and won a good provision of chickpea that matches his family needs and enough extra seeds to plant them next year.
5% of the total Beneficiaries were visited during the post-harvest phase in order to have their production’s quantities evaluated. Therefore, SARC- livelihood teams in Swaida branch concluded the final stage of the chickpea and fertilizer donation project, which included 1263 families in 10 villages around the governorate.
