Her injury prevented her from making a “heart” shape with her little hands just like her friends expressing their love for the SARC, but nothing can prevent her little heart from being happy so she made a telescope with her hand to overlook her future as bright as her smile.
Seven year old Rama lives with her family at the Adra shelter where the SARC volunteers work to provide the basic necessities to the families of the evacuees coming from Eastern Ghouta.
When Rama was asked about her future she answered, “I hope that my hand will be healed and my nose will be as beautiful as it used to be, and I want all the shrapnel in my back and shoulder removed,” she smiled and continued, “but for now, I just want to play and I hope to see you every day.”
