SARC-Homs Disaster Management Committee held a course about disaster management principles for 35 volunteers of SARC-Homs Al Zahraa point. The course discussed the principles of disaster management, the international standards, SARC’s principles and humanitarian aims, an introduction about the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC), Disaster management unit, international humanitarian law, media, registration and distribution, restoring family links and other subjects.
in addition, it aimed to improve the volunteers’ ability to be always ready to help affected people.
