The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) carries out his humanitarian duties in response to current crisis in Syria
The Red Crescent adheres to the humanitarian fundamental principles in aid delivery and responds in a neutral and impartial manner based only on needs assessment.
Zabadani, Madaya, Kefraya and Alfouaa
- On 28/12/2015 : The SARC carried the humanitarian part of the agreement that was facilitated by the UN between the parties and evacuated 126 persons from Zabadani and 338 persons from Kefraya and Alfouaa.
- The last synchronized aid convoys to Zabadani, Madaya, Kefraya and Alfouaa was on 18/10/2015 in which aid enough for 20,000 persons in Zabadani and Madaya and 10,000 in Kefraya and Alfouaa was delivered.
- The delivered aid was upon the agreement that was established between the parties knowing that the SARC and his supporting partners have the will and the capacity to deliver more aid to lift the suffering from the people in need all around Syria.
- The SARC is ready to deliver aid to the above mentioned places and an aid convoy supported by international partners and UN agencies is being prepared to enter simultaneously to Zabadani, Madaya, Kefraya and Alfouaa as soon as possible.
