“As partners in humanitarian work, we need to be more collaborative to support the most vulnerable people.” SARC President told UN Under-Secretary

 Mr. Khaled Hboubati, President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, received Mr. Mark Lowcock, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs
and Emergency Relief Coordinator and accompanied delegation in SARC -HQ in Damascus. Mr. Hboubati confirmed the importance of more cooperation between SARC and UN amid the increase of humanitarian needs n Syria. “During the years of crisis, we endeavor to reach everyone with impartiality, but given our work in the field, we noticed that the needs still increase day by day as the circumstances improve in the country. This demand more collaboration in order to serve the most vulnerable people.” He said. And during a meeting attended by SARC management members, Mr. Hboubati noted that SARC managed to reach to more than five million people during 2017. “SARC achieved a recognized acceptance and this confirms our responsibility and imposes new tasks and greater humanitarian duty. We hope our service could reach more people this year in order to contribute to more stable life” He added.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting included presentations about SARC provided services in all fields all over the Syrian governorates.
