SARC Operational Department launched a workshop, titled “Operational Management Workshop”, on March 30, 2017. The four day workshop was supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross and participated by 31 volunteers from field response teams of SARC branches.
The workshop discussed various topics about difficulties and challenges faced in field of response along with best solutions, safety and risk management in field, set up a standard work methodology in emergency response, maintain high coordination between SARC and its humanitarian work partners and the communication role during the response.
It is worth to mention that the workshop was attended by ICRC and UN agencies representatives.
