The livelihoods support team carried out their first project, which aimed to support the farmers and enable them to depende on their local production. The project included a distribution of chickpea seeds and fertilizer to 306 families affected by the crisis in Salkhad City, Urman village and Almneithra village.
The team along with technical support will follow the production stages and its quality in order to help the farmers with needed consultations and solve faced problems. The Chickpea seed and fertilizer donation are supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform.
