On the occasion of Global Handwashing Day, a team of health promotion in the Disaster Management Unit – Damascus Branch and in collaboration with the International Medical Corps, arranged various awareness-raising activities within the primary schools and kindergartens in Bayader Nader area with participation of 894 children of different ages.
The activities included several games, songs and Puppet Theater that highlight the importance of handwashing and hygiene way of handwashing and public and personal hygiene.
At the end of each activity the team distributed soap to all participating children.
