In order to encourage children to start their new school year with enthusiasm, Child Protection Department of SARC’s Humanitarian Aid Project organized a two-day educational voyage for refugees’ children in Syria. The first day targeted 32 Syrian children, while the second day targeted 23 Somali and Iraqi children.
The voyage, which carried out in cooperation with UNHCR, included a visit to the Educational Center for Arts where they had activities of drawing and sculpting, a visit to the library where they enjoyed listening to didactic stories and a tour in the Museum of the Sciences where they saw historical documents, archaeological inventions and mummified animals. At the end of the voyage, the children were presented with school stationery, juice and biscuit.
