Head of SARC Homs branch, Dr. Motaz Al Tassi, and board members welcomed Mr. Mike Adamson, the executive head of the British Red Cross and the accompanying delegation and Andeas Laderkal, general secretary of the Danish Red Cross.
Dr-Atassi briefed the delegation on the role played by SARC Homs- branch at humanitarian responses, and the exerted efforts to reach all vulnerable people. During the two-day visit, the delegation visited SARC Hospital and its clinics, then they visited Homs old city and Al-Qosour neighborhood, Al Wadi subbranch and the medical center there to see the services provided by SARC Homs branch and the livelihood activities in the area. They also paid a visit to Al Hosn area and met some beneficiaries from the livelihood activities there.
