SARC –Aleppo health care team and in coordinating with all parties on ground, delivered 16000 mosquito nets to the eastern parts of Aleppo city through Aleppo – Damascus International Highway and 15000 vials of Leishmania medications through Bustan al-Qasr – al-Masharqa Humanitarian Corridor.
The International Committee of Red Cross supported the delivered materials, which were distributed to northern and western Aleppo countryside including Izzaz, Tal Rifaat, Maaret al-Artiq, Anadan, Kafar Hamra, Aurem al-Kubra, Yakhor, Nebul and al-Zahraa.
This intervention is part of SARC leishmaniasis awareness campaign that launched throughout Aleppo governorate.
