Danish Red Cross paid a visit to Syrian Arab Red Crescent

A delegation from the Danish Red Cross (DRC) paid a briefing visit to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent organization (SARC) on 22- 29 Aug 2015. The visit aimed to have the delegation briefed on the cooperation process between DRC and SARC in fields of relief, health and psycho-social support, and the ability of more collaboration with SARC as it is the only effective and efficient working organization all over the country.

The delegation, who consists of Mr. Jacob Harbo, Head of the International Support and Mr. Niels Juel, Humanitarian Advisor, met with Dr. Abdulrahman Attar, President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and then they had a field tour to SARC Rural Damascus branch, the medical compound, medical point, response center and the psycho-social support mobile team.

It is worth to mention that the Danish Red Cross launched its activities in Syria in 2008 and had an appointed representative who follows up all collaboration operation.  [g_slider2 source=”media: 11525,11524,11523,11522,11521,11520″]
