“Crowning Our Heads” Activity for Affected Mothers in Aleppo

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, SARC – Aleppo counseling center for psycho-social support held an activity titled  “Crowning Our Heads”. The activity was carried out for the affected mothers in AlSuleimaniya, AlTelephone AlHawaie and AlJabireya areas. It included a brief on the Syrian Arab Red Crescent organization and the Counseling Center services and activities. The activity contained a play show by Al-Rooh Music Band under the title “Sadness Thief”. In addition some  magic shows were presented along with cognitive and kinetic competitions. On the end of the activity, all mothers were presented with gifts.

The activity, which was held in Saint Johns Abraham Hall for 140 women, aimed to appreciate mothers’ exerted efforts and integrate them with society as well as to introduce the activities of counseling center and encourage to attend it.
