Efforts of SARC – Aleppo and ICRC are combined to support the water supply in the economic units in rural Aleppo. Water and sanitation team in Aleppo branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent has collaborated with Afrin and Aurem Al-Kubra sub-branches to rehabilitate the economic units in Baselhaya (Afrin). They have installed submerged pump and a 60 KVA generator. They have also connected a pipe to Baselhaya sheltering center to meet the needs of 300 families including 2300 affected individuals.
The economic units in Nubol have been also rehabilitated by repairing two pumps there. The economic units in Atareb have been rehabilitated as well by repairing a pump and a 200 KVA generator.
