During summer vacation, SARC-Homs hygiene promotion team held summer club activities in Hassan Ibn Thabit School in Baba Amr area.
The team aimed firstly to help children do recreational and meaningful activities during their leisure time such as recycling, artistic and athletic activities. The same activities included educational themes as hand washing, lice infection, brushing teeth and personal hygiene behaviors and health nutrition.
245 children in Baba Amr and some displaced people from Homs countryside and Aleppo participated in these activities.
Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that this club, which is held by hygiene promotion team and supported by UNICEF, is the first club held in Baba Amr as some families back there .
