Volunteers of Psychosocial Support joint project (SARC – UNICEF) (Child’s Friendly Space) and volunteers of PSS mobile team (the Danish project) in cooperation with Agricultural Engineering Syndicate and Syrian Youth Mandatory carried out an afforestation campaign in many schools in Aleppo
The campaign, which launched on 20/12/2015 and lasted till10/01/2016, focused on raising awareness for children and adolescents (07-18 years) on the importance of trees and all plants. It aimed to get children in relation to the nature and teach them basics of agriculture.
Volunteers distributed gifts to 17800 students of Asaad Aqil, Ahmad Azzam, Huda Shaarawi, Al-Farouq, Bor Saeed, Nablus, Eskandaron, Al-Fateh, Subhi Daya, Othman Bin Affan and Nizar Qabbani Schools.
