The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) is an independent humanitarian organisation of public utility, is permanent and continuous, and has a legal entity and enjoys financial and administrative independence. SARC was founded in 1942 according to the decrees No/540/ 1942 and No/117/ 1966 which regulate the Organisation’s work. It was recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva (ICRC) in 1946, and is committed to upholding the Geneva Conventions and the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies.

Job purpose
| To Develop and edit video to capture important moments, hard Missions, and other actions. |
Job duties and responsibilities
| · Develop and edit video to capture important moments, hard Missions, and other actions.
· Work full- and part-time hours during flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, depending on when events are scheduled to take place. · Work in field and in office environments to edit recorded video & capture Action on Camera · Record important events using camera, lighting, and audio equipment. · Videographer direct people to capture specific action and events. · Edit Recorded Video & edit captured video to tell concise, visually humanitarian stories. · Set up Equipment: set up and break down recording equipment before and after use. · Maintain Equipment: keep all video and audio equipment in good working order, replacing pieces as necessary. · Design Promotional Videos: Create short promotional videos. · Provide media coverage to all SARC’s humanitarian services, activities, responses, meetings, conferences … etc. · Filming humanitarian and success stories. Support SARC COMM team in branches. · Support planning for campaigns (on the International Days and SARC events). · Support media team in events coordination (fairs, meetings … ). · Perform other job-related duties, as requested. |
