Job purpose
Technical and operational bridge between high-level strategy and field execution.
Job duties and responsibilities
• Develop high-quality project proposals through cross-functional coordination with Water &
Rehabilitation Department and other SARC departments/units.
• Coordinate with international partners, local authorities and humanitarian clusters to streamline
communication and avoid duplication of humanitarian efforts.
• Represent Water & Rehabilitation Department of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in WASH technical
working groups, task forces and coordination meetings.
• Support with establishment of core operational priorities, ensuring they are well reflected to SARC
Strategic Plan and departmental activities.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual operational plan, ensuring a direct link between the operational
priorities and all subsequent program execution and workflows.
• Support with resource mobilization by engaging with partners to fund Water & Rehabilitation initiatives.
• Follow up and regular update for the WASH Risk Register in coordination with the relevant SARC
department/Unit.
• Review and refine partnership agreements with international organizations to verify that all agreed-upon
WASH interventions and budgets are accurately and comprehensively documented.
• Coordinate projects lifecycle for Water & Rehabilitation initiatives, including monitoring project timeline
and milestones, facilitating regular coordination meetings and liaising with procurement and logistics.

Education and Training Required Preferred
• Bachelor degree in Engineering, higher academic degree is an added

• Experience in the area of coordination and planning. X
• Experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian
organizations preferred.
