It was recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva (ICRC) in 1946, and is committed to upholding the Geneva Conventions and the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies.

Job purpose
The Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) Management will be responsible for supporting the HMA unit by coordinating the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to HMA activities, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of the HMA strategy. The HMA Management will report directly to the HMA Unit Manager. |
Job duties and responsibilities
· Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to HMA activities, including but not limited to, the number of people reached, the impact of HMA activities, and the effectiveness of EORE materials.
· Review and analyse HMA data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement and provide feedback and recommendations to the HMA Unit Manager. · Prepare regular reports on RASB and NTS activities for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, partners, and relevant government authorities. · Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans for HMA activities, in coordination with the HMA team and the HMA Unit Manager. · Liaise with the branches Reporting Officers and HMA branches coordinators to ensure the effective and timely reporting of EORE activities and the integration of EORE reporting into the overall program reporting system. · work closely with other HMA coordinators, HMA branch coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective and timely reporting of HMA activities to relevant stakeholders and the production of high-quality reports. · Training of volunteers, Reporting Officers and staff and support them with the reporting process. · Coordinate the collection of data and reports from the branch Reporting Officers. · Be responsible for the management and development of the casualty database and the needs assessment in Syria. Ensure the database is secure and backed up. · Be responsible for the management and development of the EO incidents and risk education reporting database. · Be responsible for quality assurance and quality control of the reports coming from the field. · Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports on casualties, incidents, needs assessment and risk education. · Prepare weekly reports on RE branch activities. · Develop data analysis templates, reports and standards, including geographic analysis of casualty/incidents patterns, needs assessment and risk education interventions. · Support efforts to improve data collection and quality control. · Provide the HMA management with written and statistical reports upon request. · check for errors, duplicate information, lack of information or incompleteness of information in records including verification of geographical information with the help of GIS. · Ensure that the data fulfil the data management needs of the organization. · Apply recognized international, national and regional standards related to mine action data management. · Coordinate mine action data management activities as required by the SARC HQ management. · Prepare and present presentations on mine action data management activities as required. |
