Civilian victims of the armed conflicts stand a clear witness to the International Humanitarian Law violations that committed by the conflicted parties. Therefore, exploring the IHL and disseminating its acts are must to civilians’ protection and to avoid the huge losses.
In this regard, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and according to its mandate, implemented a three-day workshop that participated by 27 volunteers and employees from all SARC branches.
The workshop, supported by the ICRC, is aimed at enhancing the IHL principles and building capacities of trainers of trainees in this field.
