On their first day in school, students found their new friend, SARC volunteers, waiting for them to share their belonging to collogues and study.
In Swaida, the students of Al-Kafer school and another five schools started their new school year with songs where SARC volunteers provided stationery and school costume to 250 students in an initiative launched jointly with the local community to help the students and motivate them to continue their studies.
In Daraa, SARC’s hygiene promotion team visited Al-Naymeh school in Rural Daraa (Al-Naymeh village) and carried out raising awareness sessions about the importance of personal hygiene for more than 1200 students. They also distributed hygiene items (shampoo, soap, anti-lice spry) provided by the ICRC.
