The hugely damaged infrastructure in Syria called on inevitable intervention by SARC through water project that managed to respond to all emergency needs and launched various service to secure clean water, wells rehabilitations, water pump installation, schools and shelters rehabilitation, hygiene promotion and other activities. These interventions were carried out on the ground and reflected in numbers revealing that more than 80% of Syria population benefited from the project during 2017.
SARC Water & Sanitation project held its annual meeting that presented a summary of the accomplished works in 2017. The meeting agenda included also experience exchange among SARC branches, discussions on a plan of action in 2018; develop suggestions and charts in order to achieve the designed objectives.
The four-day meeting (28 – 31/1/2018) was attended by SARC’ water project engineers, coordinators and volunteers from all SARC branches.
