One call could save many lives, like thousands of people in Rural Damascus who received first aid services because they called the emergency rooms.
In that line, SARC first aid teams transferred more than 16 thousand cases last year, where the emergency centers examined about 150 thousand patients and provided them with necessary treatment in all Rural Damascus areas (Jaramana, Kiswa, Qatana, Arna, Dumayer, Harasta and Ain Menin).
While the trainers completed six beginner courses and three advanced, 246 paramedics were completing their missions in several responses, including (Madaya, Zabadani, Wadi Barada, Douma and Beit Jinn). These first aid services were supported by ICRC, IFRC and DRC.
