SARC water and sanitation project in cooperation with ICRC carried out a rehabilitation and maintenance process to Al-Jbeseh water desalination station in Al-Shaddadi city in Al-Hassakeh governorate on 26/12/2017.
Due to the witnessed circumstance there, the station was hugely damaged and put out of service. The process covered a replace of all overlays and electro-mechanical apparatuses, a rehabilitation of the drinking water sources and tanks, installing an electricity generating set with a capacity of 400 KVA and providing water treatment items supply for two years.
It is worth mentioning that the mentioned station is the only active one in the southern rural area of Al-Hassakeh.
