On Tuesday, March 14, 2017, two humanitarian relief aid convoys reached Madaya and Zabadani in Rural Damascus & Foaa and Kafriya in Rural Idleb.
The relief aid, which contains food parcels, nutrients, medical items and flour, will cover the needs of 60.000 people in the four mentioned towns. On the same time, SARC teams had their humanitarian role as they transferred 13 humanitarian cases from the mentioned areas.
It is worth to mention that this response, which took 2 days, was carried out in cooperation with UN Offices and the International Committee of the Red Cross, and was coordinated by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent – HQ and with participation of its branches in Damascus, Rural Damascus, Homs, Hama, Idleb and Lattakia
