SARC- HQ in cooperation with SARC-Rural Damascus branch and the Directorate of Extension Units in the Ministry of Social Affairs and supported by the International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent Societies concluded the carpet handmade vocational training program, which was launched by the livelihood teams in Al-Qoutaifah and Mouadamet Al-Qalamoun areas in Rural Damascus.
The programme was attended by 58 participant women who were presented with a vocational certificate and a loom as well as the needed raw material for one production cycle.
It is worth to mention that this programme was designed to help the most vulnerable women catch a job opportunity with a dignified income.
