SARC – Aleppo concluded the second training course on disaster management, which started on August 12th and concluded on August 17th. The course was held for 20 volunteers with an aim to enhance their capacities. It discussed various topics on principles of disaster management including the international concepts and criteria, risk analysis, gender, water and sanitation, health promotion, food security, nutrition, health, psychosocial support, sensitivity to conflict environment, restoring family links, sheltering and logistics
