The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) – Psychosocial Support Team (PSS) launched a training course titled “Children Resilience Program” on July 22nd 2016.

The seven days course is supported by International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

The course is aimed to build capacities of 23 PSS volunteers on practical applications of the children resilience manual, which is translated and amended by SARC.

It is worth to mention that the manual is developed to target children over 10 years and who suffer tough circumstances.

The manual practical application will be piloted in Jaramana, Dwella and Sihnaya SARC community centers, so to be generalized into other centers as soon as the manual’s final edition is issued.
