As it is the end of school, SARC-Homs Health Promotion team held “Together for a Better School Environment” campaign for 5894 students in all AlZohorya schools for two consecutive months.
The campaign emphasized the personal hygiene and collective work. It also provided schools and students with necessary hygiene equipment and increased mothers’ awareness about how diseases spread by water and how to avoid them.
The campaign changed students’ hygiene behavior, so the number of students who perform personal hygiene has increased.
It is worth mentioning that the Health Promotion team’s project is achieved by cooperation between SARC and UNICEF.
