Dr. Abdulrahman Attar, President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and Ms. Hanaa Singer, UNICEF Representative in Syria, signed a mutual cooperation agreement on Dec 1st 2015 at SARC headquarter in Damascus. The agreement is aimed to enhance psychosocial health for children, youngsters and their family members who are affected by the current crisis. The total number of beneficiaries will reach 450.000 people all over 9 Syrian governorates. Actually, this agreement is highly important as it contains various programs of creative and entertaining activities along with the psychosocial support addressed to mothers, children and teenagers, as well as vocational and scholarly support for the mentioned targeted sections. The agreement also contains programs for volunteers building capacities in fields of child protection and psychosocial support.

It is worth to mention that the agreement programs are to be activated through the social centers, mobile teams and the multi specialties clinics of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
