On a course of two days 7th and 8th September, 2014. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent Intervention Field teams of the Disaster Management Units – Damascus branch implemented an emergency response to people fleeing from Dukhania and Kabas areas.
Registration and distribution teams were existed around the clock to decrease the suffering of these families who fled to the areas of: Dwar Beitra, Soufaniya, Khoula park, Zahira parks, Bustan al-Dour and al-Amin street.
Emergency relief needs of these families had been provided with a support from the International Committee of the Red Cross, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, United Nations High Commisioher of Refugees and United Nations Children Fund.
