The Syrian Arab Red Crescent in cooperation with the World Food Program managed to deliver 62,452 tons of humanitarian relief aid to Harabesh neighborhood in Deir Ezzour city on Wednesday, April19, 2017.
The relief aid was deliverd via three air drops and contained cooking oil, sugar, rice, lentils, salt, and bulgur to match the needs of 1500 families there.
In its turn, SARC will manage all collection, transfer and distribution process in coordination with the Relief sub-committee in Deir Ezzour governorate.
It is worth to mention that SARC has renewed the beneficiaries’ relief aid cards during the first quarter of 2017.
