As World Cancer Day coincided the fourth of February, and since women are on the top of priorities of the medical mobile team’s , the team held raising awareness sessions on breast cancer for women and adolescent girls in the first half of February. Sessions discussed breast cancer’s symptoms, risk factors, early detection and signs that need consultation. A total of 193 women and girls benefitted from those sessions in Al-Hamdaniya, Saif Al-Dawla, Al-Seryan and Al-Athamiya. In February, the internal medicine clinic of the team examined 354 patients. The team also gave psychosocial support to children accompanying patients.
