“No words can describe how delightful I am to see him healthy again”, said Om Maher, a mother of a seven-month-old child who suffered severe malnutrition. When Maher visited the nutrition clinic, he was only 3.7 kg and suffer sleep disorders and skin lesions. Today, after four months of treatment, Maher weighs 9 kg. His healthy smile makes everyone around happy. Maher and 404 other children overcame malnutrition last year with management and supervision by SARC – Aleppo nutrition team in collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross.
