The splint was fixed to treat Hala’s hand, but the heart’s sorrows will be healed by “Your Smile is our Goal” activity launched by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent sub- branch in Salkhad area in Al- Saida city. Hala joined the affected and displaced families on the Eid celebration as she knows that joy is always waiting for everybody and has much of delights in Eid days. The little girl is ready to enjoy the Eid as she got new clothes by the local community and SARC sub-branch, which reached 935 people with new clothes.
Distribution team in SARC Latakia branch responded to the people’s needs of Latakia countryside. During the two week response the teamdelivered and distributed food baskets for more than 2120 families living in the villages (Zama – Janata – Matwar – Harf Matwar- Bit Qahtan – Karm Ziadieh – Derotan -Harf Almsetrh- Ain Alhayat – Sfvkia). On approaching of new year, SARC-Aleppo Counseling Center for Psychosocial Support held an activity for children under the title “New Year 2015 Wishes” The activity included various sections such as singing, drawing and playing games. Children also wrote their wishes and hang it on the Wishes Tree hoping for them to come true in the new year. Wishes were different but most of them included hoping to go back home, go back to school and for peace to prevail on their beloved country.
