Psycho-social support team of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Al Boteha sub branch in cooperation with Baraeem Alamal kindergarten management organized an entertainment day on Thursday 28/4/2016. The team disposed various purposeful activities to help children in reducing the daily stress they face. Almost 120 Children between 4 and 5 years old benefitted from these activities. The team concluded the day by distributing gifts for participated children to stimulate and encourage them to study.
Psychosocial support team of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Quneitra branch organized an Entertainment day on Monday 9/5/2016 at Dohat Al Balabl Kindergarten in Khan Arnabeh area. 260 child participated in the activity. The team did various games like playing, competition races, clown show also dancing and singing with children. The day ended up by distributing gifts to the participated kids and SARC’s volunteers wished to children a full of success end school year.
Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Psycho-social support team in Al Boteha sub-branch of Quneitra launched an awareness campaign about H1N1 in February 2016. The two week campaign targeted Alwafdeen camp schools (Mousa Dahsh, Awad Alkhayat, Mohamad Sobhi SHehadeh, Hussen Abd Alrahman)and the mothers who live in the shelters (Al Mehanea,Al Boteha). The campaign included various subjects like: definition of H1N1, symptoms of disease, it’s causes and ways of avoidance.
Highlights: Starting an executing new distribution plan to reach more affected people. 2500 patients got benefit from Mobile Health Clinic. 77292 beneficiaries from relief materials. 2000 beneficiaries from sterilization drinking water. Psycho social support team reaching 1632 children. Transferring 102 medical cases. Health: First Aid Services: First Aid teams in Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Quneitra branch transferred 102 cases, 17 from them to Damascus hospitals. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent Psycho-social support team in Quneitra organized an entertainment activity on Thursday 18/2/2016 at Hani Qwaider school in Khan Arnaba area. 700 children (6-15 years old) participated in the activity which aimed to motivate them to do their best in their study included a clown show, songs and dancing and ended up with gifts distribution.
