A month and a half are not that much long for those who enjoy normal conditions of life, but for people in Rasem AL Zebeeb area (220 families) who suffered lack of water, it seems ages. However, today they will have access to clean water in their homes as SARC installed an Oxfam water tank in the area last week. “Hard work turns into joy” said a volunteer from water and sanitation team at the end of the installing process.
The Water team of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent – Aleppo branch installed with a support from United Children’s Fund (UNICEF) finished the installation of Oxfam water (capacity of 35 m2).The tank was installed at the Industrial City Shelter in Jibrin, in which 250 families are sheltering.
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent – Aleppo Branch exerts more efforts in providing safe water to the affected people in different areas. In this context, the Water team installed 45000 liter-capacity Oxfam tank in Al-Athamiya. It is noteworthy that these tanks, which are provided by the UNICEF, will provide clean water to about 4000 beneficiaries.
